Happy Easter

We took Blakely to get her Easter pictures made with a bunny. We were a little worried about how it was going to go, but she ended up loving the bunny.
Blakely is wearing the bracelet that I wore when I was a baby.

Our Weekend
Saturday night we went over to my parents house to celebrate my brother passing his
4 CPA exams!!! WOOHOO!!!! We had a good time playing with everyone and eating some very good food!

Mama D and Papa Lee got Blakely a dancing bunny for Easter that dances and hops while it sings "Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail".
Silly Papa Lee was outside cooking out and was playing with Blakely through the window.
She loves her Uncle Justin and Aunt Lydia!
We gave her a cold green bean to chew on and she loved it. I hope this is a sign that she will love to eat green beans in a few weeks~

On Friday we went with Sheaffer and Carter to Frisco to eat and shop. Before we left we decided to attempt to take some pictures of them. When they get married in about 20+ years they will need these pictures for their slide show! HA!

"You want us to do what....act like we like each other and smile?"
"OK, Carter come here..I want a bite of you"
"Wait Carter, please come back here"
"You are crazy girl...I don't know what to think of you"
"OK, I think I am starting to like you. Here are some pretty flowers I just got out of mommy's vase that you can have."
"I love flowers...give them to me."
The end~

On Friday, we also found out that our babysitter is moving in 2 weeks. YIKES! We love Mrs. Melody "Mimi". She has been such a blessing to us since I have gone back to work. We are REALLY sad that she has to move. So, all my friends in Mckinney, if you know anyone that keeps kids please let us know. We have a couple that we are going to meet with. We are just praying that God will bring someone else into our life like Mimi that we can love and trust.

It's Cereal Time. YUM! YUM!
We gave Blakely cereal this past week for the first time. The first bite she wasn't sure of but after that she loved it and ate every bit of it. I don't think we are going to have a problem with her eating baby food in a couple of weeks. She LOVES to eat!

Yummy, that was good!!!
"What is this stuff in my mouth?"

Daddy Time
Just thought I would share some cute pictures of Blakely and her "daddy time".
Blakely had fun playing outside while Daddy worked on his 4-wheeler.

Yeah! Spring time is finally here!!!!!

I love my new sunglasses mommy bought for me!

What have we been up to???
I decided to post some pictures of things that Blakely likes to do now.
Enjoy~

She loves to sit and read books. We sit every evening and read books.
She is now pushing her head and bottom in the air when she is on her tummy. She will be crawling before we know it.

One of her favorite toys..she goes crazy in this thing.
Occasionally we will put in one of her Baby Einstein videos. She will sit the entire time and she gets so excited about certain parts of it.

She still loves her swing..thank goodness! She also loves taking naps with the bunny that Uncle Chris gave her.

Of course we have to go see Aunt Sheaffer and Carter for a play date. Carter still doesn't know what to think of little Miss Blakely.

Sweet baby~

Blakely is starting to watch and play with Maggie and Moose. They have been so good with her.

Well, unfortunately I have to admit Blakely throws some good fits. She is such a great baby, however when she gets hungry you better watch out!
I thought these next two pictures were funny. One night it had only been 2 hours since she ate and she was throwing a huge fit. I did everything I could to comfort her and nothing worked. So I layed her on our bed to see if she would finally calm herself. In the middle of all this daddy calls from work. So I put the phone up to her ear and he talks to her about her fit...unfortunately that didn't work either. Ends up...she was hungry.
I have a feeling we will be seeing this picture some more in our future...Blakely doing something wrong and having to talk to her daddy on the phone. Look at her pitiful face.
Poor baby~

During the last few weeks we have had lots of people come visit us.

Aunt Regina
Uncle Justin and Aunt Lydia

One of my best friends from high school...Aunt Mandy
AND....the visitor she liked the most was....
Uncle Matt!!!

Grandparents
Brandon and I are so blessed to have such wonderful, loving, supportive, caring parents...Blakely is so, so blessed to have grandparents that love her SOOOOO much. Our parents have helped us out so much since Blakely has been born. They are always willing and wanting to keep her at any time. Brandon and I get date nights anytime we want them. The grandparents are just waiting for us to call and say we need them to help with Blakely. Honey, Mamma D and Papa Lee live within 30 minutes. However, Mimi and PawPaw live 6 hours away. So, we miss getting to see them since we don't get to see them that often. But, they call almost everyday and enjoy all the pictures and videos we take.
Blakely also loves her grandparents sooo much. She loves Honey singing her the "little froggy" song and sitting on her front porch. She loves Mamma D reading her nursery rhymes and books and she loves Papa Lee taking her outside to see the squirrels and playing games with her.
Thank you grandparents for all you do for us. We all love you so much. Words can not express how much we appreciate all that you do!

We cant wait to go see Mimi and PawPaw this summer!!!
